Strategic Partnerships

Through our strategic partnerships we enhance our capacity and access to expertise to support school improvement and professional development.

Challenge Partners

All the schools in our Trust belong to the Challenge Partners network. Challenge Partners' schools believe in providing the best possible education to all our children. We are convinced that we can achieve this when we harness the skills and knowledge that already exist within our schools. The Habs Institute for Professional Learning co-leads a collaborative hub of 17 schools with the Charter Schools Educational Trust. Through this collaboration we seek to provide every school leader in our partnership with access to the combined wisdom of the education system.

UCL IOE

The Habs Institute for Professional Learning is a National Professional Qualifications (NPQ) delivery partner for UCL IOE. UCL IOE is one of six national providers recently accredited by the DfE to design, deliver and assess the reformed National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) for school leadership. As a delivery partner for UCL IOE we lead the NPQs in South-East London and Kent, using expert facilitators from our network to lead the training conferences, host the peer support networks and provide ongoing support.

The specialist and leadership NPQs provide training and support for teachers and school leaders at all levels, from those who want to develop expertise in high-quality teaching practice, such as behaviour management, to those leading multiple schools across trusts.
