After supporting over 400 leaders across the South East on NPQ programmes, we’re delighted to also be offering NPQSENCO as a delivery partner for UCL IOE.

UCL’s IOE are World Number 1 for Education in QS subject rankings for the ninth year in a row. 

From 2025 onwards, there will only be one NPQ cohort per year. We're now recruiting for the Autumn 2025 cohort - don't miss out!

We’re recruiting for the following programmes:

Leadership NPQs

• NPQ Headship (NPQH) - designed for school leaders who are, or are aspiring to be, a headteacher or head of school with responsibility for leading a school
• NPQ Senior Leadership (NPQSL) - designed for school leaders who are, or are aspiring to be, a senior leader with cross-school responsibilities. 

• NPQ Special Educational Needs Coordinator (NPQSENCO) - For teachers interested in developing expertise in special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) or undertaking a SENCO role in future

• NPQ Early Years Leadership (NPQEYL) - For early years' leaders who are or aspire to be managers.

Specialist NPQs

• NPQ Leading Teaching (NPQLT) - designed for teachers who have, or are aspiring to have, responsibilities for leading teaching in a subject, year group, key stage or phase.

• NPQ Leading Primary Mathematics (NPQLPM) - For teachers looking  to deepen their knowledge of Leading Primary Mathematics within a collaborative and open learning environment.

• NPQ Leading Behaviour & Culture (NPQLBC) -  For teachers who have, or are aspiring to have, responsibilities for leading behaviour and/or supporting pupil wellbeing in their school.
• NPQ Leading Literacy (NPQLL) - For teachers who have, or aspire to have responsibility for leading literacy across a year group, key stage, phase or school.
• NPQ Leading Teacher Development (NPQLTD) - For teachers who have, or are aspiring to have, responsibilities for leading the development of other teachers, curriculum leads, mentors or trainees in their school.

NPQ 23/24

 

Scholarship Funding 

DfE have changed the scholarship criteria for the Autumn 2024 cohort. See Funding for national professional qualifications (NPQs).

Scholarships are available to all teachers and leaders from state-funded schools and settings for the following NPQs: 

• NPQ for Headship
• Early Headship Coaching Offer (EHCO) 
• NPQ in Leading Primary Mathematics  
• NPQ for SENCOs

Funded NPQ Scholarships are available for teachers and leaders working in the "top 50% of schools as defined by the proportion of students that attract pupil premium funding":

From October 2024, charges will apply for applicants who are not eligible for scholarships. The fees for each NPQ can be found on their individual pages.
