A Summer of Success: GCSE Results Open Doors for Haberdashers' Students
Students, staff and families across Haberdashers' Academies Trust South are celebrating another year of GCSE success, with strong outcomes across our four secondary schools and hundreds of young people achieving results that will open doors to exciting next steps in education, training and employment.

Across the Trust, 66% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and Mathematics, while nearly half (46%) secured a strong pass of grade 5 or above in both subjects. More than one in ten students achieved grades 7 or above in both English and Maths, demonstrating high levels of academic achievement across our schools.
This year's results include particularly strong performances in a range of subjects. In the sciences, 62% of Biology students achieved grade 7 or above, alongside 59% in Chemistry and 56% in Physics. Further Mathematics continued to excel, with 98% of students achieving grade 5 or higher and 78% securing grades 7-9. Photography also saw excellent outcomes, with more than three quarters of students achieving a grade 5 or above.
Individual schools celebrated notable successes. At Haberdashers' Borough Academy, students achieved the school's best-ever GCSE results, while Hatcham College recorded its strongest English and Mathematics outcomes since GCSE grading reforms were introduced. Knights Academy celebrated improvements in key measures, including a rise in students achieving strong passes in English and Maths, and students at Crayford Academy marked the successful completion of their GCSE studies with a range of strong individual and subject achievements.

The Trust also celebrated some exceptional individual achievements. Two Hatcham College students, Gaia Testoni and Ewan Willis, achieved the remarkable feat of securing grade 9s across all of their GCSE subjects. Many other students across the Trust achieved outstanding combinations of top grades, reflecting years of hard work, determination and ambition.
These results are a testament to the dedication of our students, the commitment of our staff and the invaluable support of families. We are incredibly proud of everything our young people have achieved and look forward to seeing them flourish as they take the next steps in their educational journeys.
