Celebrating Outstanding Sixth Form Results across our Trust
This year has been a remarkable one for the Sixth Forms across our Trust, with students from Haberdashers' Crayford Academy, Haberdashers' Hatcham College and Haberdashers' Knights Academy achieving outstanding results that reflect their hard work, dedication, and resilience. As our students prepare to embark on the next exciting chapter of their lives, we take this moment to celebrate their achievements and the significant improvements made within our schools.
Haberdashers' Hatcham College: A Year of Academic Excellence
Hatcham College Sixth Formers celebrate exceptional results, demonstrating not only academic excellence but also the effectiveness of the targeted support and enrichment programmes implemented over the past year.
Hannah Kennedy, Assistant Principal Head of Key Stage 5 at Hatcham said:
We are extraordinarily proud of our Year 13 students who have worked so hard to achieve amazing results and secure fantastic university places and degree apprenticeships. For us, it is such a pleasure to see students open their results and know that their efforts paid off. We look forward to seeing the amazing things they go off to do and the ways they change the world.
Among the highlights are a number of Oxbridge places and a significant grade increases in particular subjects:
- Photography a 33% increase in A*-B
- Biology a 35% increase in A*-B
- Business Studies a 41% increase A*-B
- Chemistry a 18% at A*-B
- Economics a 22% increase A*-B

- Kate who achieved A*A*A* who will be studying History at Oxford University
- Eve who achieved A*AA who will be studying Archaeology at Cambridge University
- Liberty who achieved A*AA who will be studying Experimental Psychology at Oxford University
- Sam who achieved A*A*AA who will be studying Mechanical Engineering at Oxford University
- John who achieved A*A*A who will be studying Economics at Bristol
- Tammy who achieved A*A*A who will be studying Pharmacology at UCL
- Brie who achieved A*A*A who will be studying English Literature at Loughborough University
- Miles who achieved A*A* A who will be studying International Social and Public Policy
- Angeline who achieved A*A*A who will be studying Veterinary Sciences at Royal Veterinary College – University of London
Haberdashers' Crayford Academy: Record-Breaking Achievements
Crayford has witnessed a year of record-breaking achievements, with its Sixth Form students setting new benchmarks for the school. This year’s cohort has excelled, not only with many students securing places at top universities such as University of Leicester and Plymouth University, but also for students embarking on degree apprenticeships at Amazon and The Metropolitan Police. This year's results have meant students are going on to study Dental Surgery, Accounting, Film Production (with a year's work experience in Hollywood), Animation, Business, Law and many more. A Health and Social Care student has secured childcare employment with a cruise provider, and will be able to travel the world as part of her next steps.
Results at Crayford have continued improving year on year.
A Level results graded C and above have increased by 10% with vocational results graded merit or above increasing by 13% since last year.
Crayford are proud to welcome their Deputy Head Girl, Tilly, into their staff team to begin her own journey into teacher training. Having started in the nursery and now completed sixth form, Tilly truly embodies our ‘From 3 to forever’ Haberdashers' ethos.
Individual success stories also include:
- Michaela, who achieved D* in Applied Law, D* in Business and a D* in Health and Social Care.
- Khalis, who achieved B in Sociology, D* in Health and Social Care and D in Business study is going on to Kent University to study Accounting and Finance.
- Oluwa Folakemi, who achieved A in Maths, A in Physics and D* in IT and is going on to study Science and Mathematics at The University of Manchester

Our sixth form has reached new heights yet again, with improvements year on year that truly inspire us. Haberdashers' Knights Academy: A Year of Growth and Success
Knights Academy has also seen remarkable improvements in its Sixth Form results. This year’s cohort has shown good progress with A* - C grades increasing by 8% this year, 62% of Vocational students achieved D*-D in their respective extended Diploma qualifications, making the average vocational grade across the school a Distinction. Some exceptional individual successes are highlighted below, but initial destination data reveals that 78% of students at Knights have accepted offers from universities whilst 14% have been accepted on apprenticeships.
Individual student success include:
- Idris (Head Boy) achieved A*, A, A in Business Studies, Government & Politics and Sociology and has met the conditions of his offer to study Law LLB (Hons) at Durham University
- Miriam (Head Girl) has accepted her offer of a Data Analyst degree apprenticeship at Amazon
- Cuong has also achieved A*, A, B in his Mathematics, Physics & Computer Science. Cuong has accepted a place to study Electrical & electronic engineering at the University of Southampton.
- Arthur achieved A*, A, B in his Mathematics, Physics & Computer Science and has accepted his place at City, University of London to study Computer Science.
- Jesse Asare will also be studying Computer Science at the University of Brighton, having followed a vocational pathway, and achieving D*,D,D Level 3 Extended Diploma ICT.
- Ricardo was awarded the sixth form student of the year award during the Graduation ceremony because of his application and commitment to his studies. Ricardo achieved A, B, B in Biology, Chemistry and Sociology and will now continue his studies at Imperial studying Biomedical Science.
- Laura has been accepted on her degree apprenticeship with Google and Kyan will begin an apprenticeship with the Phoenix Group
