Celebrating Year 13 Success Across Our Trust

Across three Haberdashers’ Sixth Forms - Haberdashers' Crayford Academy, Haberdashers' Hatcham College and Haberdashers' Knights Academy - students celebrated brilliant results as they collected their final grades and now prepare to take their next steps into higher education, apprenticeships, and the workplace.

This year’s A Level results are the highest since the return to pre-pandemic grading, with stronger outcomes than in both 2024 and 2023. Vocational results have also been outstanding, with Haberdashers' Knights Academy continuing to rank among the highest-performing providers in the country.

Trust-wide highlights include:

• Exceptional subject performances in Spanish (50% A*–A), History (39% A*–A; 65% A*–B), and Further Maths (38% A*–A; 62% A*–B).

• Just over 10% of the cohort are students with SEND – almost half achieved A*–B grades, with over 1 in 5 securing A*–A grades, outperforming the Trust average.

• Crayford Academy tripled its proportion of A*–A grades compared to 2023 and achieved a sharp rise in A*–B results, from 19% in 2024 to 35% this year.

• Vocational excellence at Knights Academy, with an average Technical grade of Distinction* and Applied grade of Distinction–, and two-thirds of vocational students securing at least a Distinction.

Stories of success

At Haberdashers’ Hatcham College, more students than ever have secured competitive degree-level apprenticeships in engineering, finance, and technology. Standout achievers include Ti-Jean Martin (AAB, History at Oxford University) and Alex Johnston-Collier (AAA, Earth Sciences at Oxford University).

At Haberdashers’ Knights Academy, students are heading to diverse destinations – from Marine Biology to Radiography – with many securing DDD* in vocational courses. Madelin will study Sports Therapy at Bournemouth University, while Inez, Head Girl and a Haberdashers' pupil since Nursery, will study Mental Health Nursing at the University of Surrey.

At Haberdashers’ Crayford Academy, outcomes continue to rise year on year. Notable successes include Kia (A, B, B – Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham), Feyikemi (A*, A, B – Biomedical Sciences at Queen Mary University) and David, who will take up a Trust-supported apprenticeship with EY after achieving D*, B, D*.

As our Year 13 students move on – whether to university, apprenticeships, or employment – they take with them the skills, confidence, and sense of purpose that define a Haberdashers’ education. We congratulate them all and look forward to seeing the difference they make in the world.
