Head of Girls' PE

  • About the role​

    We are seeking an outstanding and enthusiastic Head of Girls’ PE to lead and further develop our successful and vibrant Physical Education department. PE is a highly valued subject within the College, offering a broad and engaging curriculum including BTEC and GCSE qualifications, alongside statutory physical education for all year groups, with the exciting addition of a new A Level PE course.

    The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting participation and excellence in girls’ sport, driving engagement in both curriculum and extra-curricular activities. Our thriving sports programme saw over 200 fixtures take place last year, across a wide range of sports.     The department benefits from excellent sporting facilities, including extensive playing fields, a sports hall, netball courts and a fitness room. We also run a Sports Scholars Programme for Years 7–10, designed to support talented and committed student athletes.

    Sport is a significant strength of the College, with recent successes including U16 Inner London Football Cup winners (2024) and U15 and U13 Girls’ Haberdashers’ Athletics Champions (2025). This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader to build on this success and inspire the next generation of female athletes.
