New parent governor elections
We are pleased to announce that we have a vacancy for parent governors in six of our schools. These vacancies have arisen because we are reorganising the governance of all our schools. The creation of a separate Local Governing Body for each school, means that we now have two parents on each LGB.
Due to COVID-19 situation, this will need to be an online election. All parents who have given the school an email address will have received a letter explaining the process of registering to vote and how to stand.
We are really proud of our excellent governance team who work with our schools to ensure that:
- The School is providing an excellent education resulting in success for all students.
- The Trust’s vision for its schools is being followed in the school and implemented successfully.
- The School is complying with the law and the Trust’s key policies and managing any risks the school may face, with a particular focus on safeguarding and special needs.

We want everyone to be involved, so parents should contact their child's school reception if you have not received a letter or you have any specific questions about the parent governor elections.
