Ready, set go! The Cross-Trust Primary Sports Day a great way to end the term

This week started with energy and enthusiasm, as our Trust-wide Primary Sports Day took place at the National Sports Centre in Crystal Palace. Pupils in Years 5 and 6 from all five primaries came together on Monday 22 May for a day of competition including events such as hurdles, sprints, javelin, shotput and long jump, and not to mention epic relay races and staff races!

Congratulations go to Knights Primary who were overall winners, closely followed by two teams from Hatcham Primary. All schools put in maximum effort and the teamwork was impeccable. Pupils and staff supported each other with spirit – the cheers I’m sure were heard across South London!

 We have some outstanding athletes amongst our primary pupils and the participation and determination of all was most impressive.
