Teacher of Art (Part-time)

  • Salary: Enhanced MPS/UPS including Outer London Allowance (£37,928 - £56,217 pro rated to 0.2/0.4FTE)
  • Start Date:  From September 2026
  • Contract length:  Permanent, Part-time (0.2 / 0.4FTE)

    We are seeking a talented Art Teacher who is excited about teaching and learning, has exceptional artistic abilities - a real passion for Art and is dedicated to motivating and challenging students to achieve beyond their expected target. The successful candidate will join us on a part-time basis and have experience of teaching Art at KS3 and KS4. You will bring innovative ideas to the role and a commitment to developing new activities and initiatives. You will be responsible for instructing students in all areas of Art, such as painting, sketching, designing, sculpture, photography and multimedia.

    We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. This post falls within the scope of regulated activity. Appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS with list checks (and other relevant checks). It is an offence to apply for the role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity with children.
