Monday 7 October 2024 /s Hatcham College : Teaching - Head of French (Maternity Cover) @ Lewisham * Secondary About the Role: Hatcham College is seeking to appoint a Head of French as maternity cover. Hatcham College is a multi-site school with Key Stage 3 and KS4 and 5 housed separately. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a high-quality curriculum. You will work closely with other heads of department to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to teaching and learning and will collaborate with external partners to build relationships and develop programs that extend beyond the classroom. You will be accountable for leading, managing developing French across the school, and raising standards of student attainment and achievement. To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of the French curriculum, be fluent in French, and have a passion for sharing your knowledge with others. You will need to be an excellent communicator and have strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire others.
